Improv: Scene Work

$300.00

You know about “yes, and,” and “zip, zap, zop,” but how do you enter a scene and keep it going in a way that feels natural and dynamic? This class will teach you the fundamentals of scene work in improv comedy. You will learn the concepts of game, heightening, and patterns. We will further explore physicality and clowning as a way to create characters who are believable and fun to play. You will come to see that you and your scene partners are geniuses and poets when you take the stage!

You will leave this class with the ability to learn and perform in any longform improv format. This class is taught in partnership with Third Place Theater at the Hangar Theatre Company.

Some flexible pricing options available, reach out to Ilan via ilanjkaplan@gmail.com.
